"We always stay at The Carlisle Inn in Walnut Creek when we head to Amish country in Ohio. Everyone is so nice and helpful. The property is well maintained and out front of the Inn are lots of comfy chairs to relax in, while watching a relaxing water fountain. The hotel has beautiful scenery that over looks a beautiful meadow and beautiful country side. A delicious breakfast in the morning with donuts and in the evening there are cookies and hot popcorn. If you’re hungry, you can just walk right out of the hotel and walk across the parking lot to Der Dutchman Restaurant and bakery. There are shops across the street and a candy shop just down the street. A very safe area."
