"It was a great price for one night with five adults. The room was clean and comfortable. While we never saw the staff onsite (we came in late and left early) they were very communicative via email. We had no issues with noise, and the restrooms and showers, while not ensuite, were clean and fine. The surrounding area was less clean and around the corner there were a couple of people clearly bedding down for the night. But at no time did anyone feel unsafe. "

"Location is great, it’s close to Gojo station subway exit that has an elevator, which is good for tourists with luggage. Convenient store and supermarket are nearby as well. The rooms are spacious and clean. Remember to online check-in ahead of time in order to get your room smoothly. "

"My stay at the hostel was so close to a bunch of restaurants as well as the subway line and just a 15 minute walk to the Kyoto airport so it was really convenient! I got free towels everyday and laundry was just only 200 Yen for the laundry pods. The hostess (I'm sad I didn't get her name) was nice and kind as to show me how everything works. Japanese isn't required but it was nice for me to practice some of it with her. Definitely would stay here again when I come back to Kyoto."
