Jeg vill dele noen tanker om oppholdet vårt på Hotell Emma. Selv om hotellet i seg selv har mye sjarm, historie og en trivelig atmosfære, som vi satte stor pris på, opplevde vi dessverre en litt skuffende start på dagen. Vi endte opp med å ta frokosten på en nærliggende kafé, som viste seg å være trang og hadde et begrenset utvalg. I tillegg var oppfølgingen fra betjeningen ikke helt på topp. Dette stod i sterk kontrast til de positive anmeldelsene vi hadde lest om en herlig frokostbuffé, som faktisk var en av hovedgrunnene til at vi valgte dette hotellet. Til tross for frokostopplevelsen, vil jeg likevel anbefale Hotell Emma for de som setter pris på sjarmerende atmosfære og historie. Alt i alt var det en blandet opplevelse, men det er jo gjerne slik det er med hoteller.

The room was very clean and staff were very friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed the free breakfast at the cafe across the street that’s associated with the hotel. There’s plenty of really nice shops and restaurants all around the hotel. Excellent place for walks in town or down by the lake. Absolutely loved my stay.

Surprisingly, this turned out to be one of my best hotel experiences in Sweden. Everything felt just right — from the overall atmosphere to the small details. The place has a pleasant vibe, the staff are attentive without overdoing it, and the room was cozy, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast was really good, with fresh options and a calm setting to start the day. The whole stay felt effortless — smooth check-in, quiet nights, and a sense that everything is taken care of. It’s rare to find a hotel where everything simply works as it should, but this one definitely managed that. I’d be glad to come back.

We loved our stay at Hotel Emma. We arrived late and used the self-check in service, which was very smooth. We were not in Östersund very long, so it was wonderful to stay in a central location to get a feel for the town. Loved that they sold some local products in their lobby. Great breakfast.

Enkelt hotell men hade allt man behöver. Vattenkokare, te och kaffe, badrumstillbehör och fläkt. Frukostmatsalen är liten men det lokala utbudet fantastiskt. Våfflorna mwd hjortronsylt satte pricken över i.

Hotell i en smule særklasse

Et eldre hotell med veldig serviceinnstilt personale. Beliggenheten midt i byens gågate, noe som var litt tungvint i forhold til parkering og forflytning av bagasje i hetebølgen. Ved ankomst må man trykke på en ringeklokke, døren blir åpnet og det er en ganske bratt trapp opp en etasje. Deretter heis videre opp til rommene. Koselige rom , oppholdsrom og frokokostrom. Tilgjengelig kaffe og kaker er en hyggelig gest ! Personalet berømmes for sin gode service !!

Koselig hotell

Meget trivelig og hjelpsom betjening, gode senger, nydelig frokost, gammel bygård og dertil litt slitne rom, bad og fellesrom, men meget godt renhold og god størrelse på vårt rom. Lite bad. Perfekt beliggenhet midt i gågata. Et trivelig hotell med hjemmekoselig stemning, som vi mer enn gjerne kommer tilbake til.
