"Coffee machine broken"

"Like - the hotel was clean and well maintained. Did not like - tried to order a small, simple à la carte breakfast of Raisin Bran cereal, an apple and a hot tea. I was not hungry so did not want the breakfast bar for $25. My simple order ended up costing $26! They added a large fruit cup and a large hot tea without asking or giving me a choice of the items’ size. This was not fair since I only wanted a small breakfast but the up-charges on these two items caused my small breakfast to cost...

"Perfect for family, kitchenette, computer and printer, cable tv. Clean place. Well situated, museum, restaurant, bar and grocery really close. Small underground parking."

"We loved this place. The only negative is we found there was not enough kitchen utensils for example a spatula. Maybe a couple of pots and some oven mitts. A lid for the frying pan. We stayed for 4 days and really wanted to use the kitchen more but was not equipped for cooking. Very basic items. Also it would of been nice to have a couple of throw blankets for the sofa. When ac is on it gets chilly for the evening. Location is amazing and the unit was perfect."

"Hotel looks like an old apartment building that was repurposed into an Hotel. It has modern furnishings and looks good but you can still feel the apartment vibe throughout. It is clean and the staff were helpful but there are a few things that would have made the stay more enjoyable. There is no on-site parking, you have to drive 5 mins away to go park (Paid Parking) and an 8 minutes walk back to the hotel. This is very inconvenient. "Great location and the room was clean and well-maintained. We booked a city view room on a high floor, but it faced the construction side of the building and we were woken up early every morning by the noise. We stayed three nights and asked the front desk about switching to a room facing Parliament Hill, but were told nothing was available. My suggestion to the hotel: rooms affected by construction noise shouldn't be sold at full city view rates. It's not good value, and frankly, it's not fair...

"The hotel did warn us they are in the middle of an upgrade, specifically to replace carpeting. The hotel desperately needs it. The musty smell in the hallways is strong. Staff at the front desk and the breakfast area were very pleasant and helpful."
