The place claims it’s a nonsmoking property, but the hallway, elevator and room had a heavy cigarette smells. If you are traveling in the summer, please book another place. The AC does not function.

Cartier Place Suite Hotel
Good location. Very friendly staffs. The slanted/inclined way in/out to parking garage to B2 is the big problem. My car got scratched bottom everytime when i going in and out from B2. I also found that the coffee machine had leftover coffee still inside the machine. The shower gel was near empty ...

Ottawa Embassy Hotel
Construction happening in hotel and the elevators were severely delayed (up to 5min). The elevators and areas were dusty with construction traffic. The beds were fine, but carpets worn. The bathroom had a strange pocket door and latch, which was not ideal.

Fairmont Chateau Laurier
Horrible room. Awkward configuration. Tiny washroom making difficult to even sit on the toilette. Thermostat didn’t work. Exterior window did not close. Remote control batteries were dead. Nice property - Terrible accommodations.

ANDAZ OTTAWA BYWARD MARKET, BY HYATT
Love the roof-top patio/bar area. Gorgeous view of the City. Staff in the hotel were extremely kind and helpful. Welcome cocktail and chips in the room were a wonderful treat!
