Me senti bem recebida. Os recepcionistas foram muito claro com relação ao funcionamento do hostel. ótima localização. Me senti super bem recebida. Banheiros em bom estado. Cozinha também. único ponto que eu sugeriria é para que os quartos e cozinha possuem sistema de ventilação trocar o ar. Obrigada por tudo!

Located in the city centre; walkable distance to where I want to go. Friendly staff and guests. Can get noisy due to the nightclubs outside, but earplugs are provided.

Overpriced for the service provided (i.e., eight people to a room, no breakfast offered, etc.) in comparison to YHA accommodations throughout England.

Very loud, 4 night clubs next door, no air conditioning so had to have the windows open all night. So while you are trying to sleep there were people partying at 3am.

Highly recommended
Lovely stay. Friendly and helpful staff, cleans the shower every time someone uses it. Comfy & clean beds, have these boards around you so you don’t have to look at someone when you’re lying down. Very clean, tidy, and cozy kitchen & common area. Also, they don’t charge for luggage storage after checkout which is a huge plus (every other hostel I stayed in would charge post-checkout luggage storage fee, which I understand) It could get pretty loud on Saturday night but they offer free earplugs. Great stay overall, highly recommended!

Oxford budget accommodation
Clean and well maintained property. Heavy noise coming in from the street during the weekend due to the need of keeping the window slightly open to refresh the dormitory. Earplugs kindly made available by the management.

I would stay there again
I really liked the hostel. Loads of areas to hangout and relax. The location is also very good, in between the station and the city centre. They let me leave my bag before checking in and after the check out. The hostel is above a couple of night clubs so make sure you bring some earplugs or you could use the ones the hostel gives out for free.

Horrible Location - this Hostel should disclose that their rooms are located directly above three dance clubs. VERY VERY VERY VERY NOISY. I got maybe 2 hours of quiet.

We are sorry to hear you did not enjoy your stay with us. Being centrally located is great for easy access to transport hubs and city sights, however, that does mean that we also get the noise associated with such a location. Because of this, we do provide free earplugs to ensure our guests get a restful night.

Visited Oxford to study in Bodleian. This place provided a good basic base to sleep. Kept very clean, though could be touch noisy- earplugs provide, very helpful! Get what you are paying for- though the free tea and coffee in kitchen was nice

OK for everything else but sleep.
Excellent service from the reception staff. Shame the weather was so hot, almost boiling and the AC in my room was almost non-existent. Even with an open window, it was simply too hot to spend even an hour in. Checked out straightaway.

Clean, bright and cheerful
I fancied a cheap couple of days away from home and work to explore Oxford as I'd always wanted to visit and what could be cheaper than a Backpacker hotel with shared sleeping arrangements! I highly recommend this accommodation. Very clean, and bright with excellent kitchen and bathroom facilities and helpful staff. It was also fun sleeping on a top bunk for the first time in decades!

Too loud for comfort
It was much too loud. Not only is the hostel right next to a nightclub, but even the staff opening up the facilities at 7 am talked so loudly that they woke everyone up after a few hours of sleep. And that's with earplugs...

Location was strategic, but the stairs going up the rooms are quite steep and narrow. Pretty hard to bring your luggages up. Toilets are not that clean and the drainage system is poor. Pillows are old and the mattress is too thin. The noise coming from the club just opposite the hostel is so dreadful and we couldnt get any sleep! But the staff and tenants are very warm and welcoming

Friendly staff - good atmosphere - clean conditions. Comfortable clean and solid bed. It looked like other backpackers were young foreign students rather than the homeless. Good facilities. Pity about the noise from the late night club across the road until 3am though.

J'ai beaucoup apprécié l'hospitalité du personnel, son écoute et entre les résidents le fait que l'on se dit bonjour naturellement. En outre, il y a une ambiance joyeuse dans les lieux communs et un grand respect du silence et des autres dans les chambres. La décoration est originale, humoristique et inventive, c'est lumineux et coloré. Il y a un peu de bruit dans la rue parfois le soir pour les deux chambres sur la rue, mais avec les boules dans les oreilles fournies par l'établissement, on s'y habitue très bien! Bien que d'une autre génération que la plupart des résidents, je m'y suis senti très à l'aise. En plus, la rivière à côté, le château avec sa tour à deux pas de l'établissement sont très beaux. La gare de bus et le centre sont à côté.
