Such a lovely spot. We had some things come up with our arrival and departure and they offered to keep our luggage secure. Rooms are so cozy and homey, such a quiet and cute location. Loved the walkability to C.S. Lewis’s house and nature preserve and church. Staff were super helpful and kind—would definitely stay here again!

Given the location, I thought that the price was a little high, but the accommodation was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I would stay here again, if I were visiting the area.

We stayed for one night at The Conifers guest house in a deluxe double room. We were welcomed at check in, which was very quick and efficient. The room was comfortable, quiet and airy (on a hot day), with tea and coffee available and a reasonable sized shower room. We had a good nights sleep in a large and comfortable bed. The next morning we had a good, buffet style breakfast which also included eggs freshly made and served by the friendly staff. We were able to park on the property. Spaces are limited so I would imagine there is street parking available nearby if required. This was our first time staying at The Conifers but we would happily stay again.

The bus stop is just a 2-minute walk from the hotel, with a 20-minute ride to the city center. The room was spacious, and the private bathroom was also large and very clean. The staff were extremely helpful. An excellent stay—thank you.

The property is easy to reach via various buses; despite its distance from the city centre (ca 12 stops). Friendly and competent staff. A good number of dining options and a couple of supermarkets (Waitrose, Sainsbury) within ca 10-15 min walking distance. The room is small but clean and quite cozy, with a kettle, instant coffee, and tea bags. Very good option for budge travel to Oxford.

If travelling in the summer heat, consider that the rooms tend to warm up quite a bit. They asked for sensitive information via message/email, which I find a bit odd as the booking was prepaid early. Seems a bit shady.

Very comfortable, clean and quiet room, with good location for Headington shops and restaurants, and very close to the East Oxford hospitals which can be difficult to get to with heavy traffic if you have an early appointment. We walked to the Jasmine and Olive restaurant excellent food about ten minutes walk away.

Well located property with parting. Rooms clean and well presented. Friendly staff with a warm welcome. Breakfast perfectly acceptable with the offer of toast, cooked eggs and porridge to complement the cold buffet. Good location. Would book again.

Tidak Disukai: Kebersihan, staf & layanan, fasilitas
Our experience can be stupidly as hot and noise. We stayed 2 nights in Room #1 which was facing the main room in mid summer. They offered a fan in the room which was totally useless, you properly can generate more air by fanning yourself than the fan. The room was so noisy at night even you closed all the windows. Just imagine you sleep in a room with all the windows closed in a hot day and hearing cars zooming by through out the night.

Everything about the Conifers was excellent, except for one detail at check-in. I was particularly impressed by the comfy bed and very user-friendly shower. My only gripe was that when the young lady offered me breakfast for £10 (cash only), she did not explain that this involved just a continental breakfast plus eggs, beans and toast. I had handed over the money on the reasonable assumption the breakfast offer was a full English. On the morning itself, the breakfast proved more than adequate, but I would've appreciated more transparency from the outset.
