"This is not a traditional hotel, but actually much better. The property is historic, the rooms have real character, and everything you could want in a room is all there. The staff are delightful, helpful, and attentive. And the location is central yet completely quiet."

"The rooms have air conditioning which is a huge plus, and the location is good. However, this hotel had a lot of other shortcomings. The lift didn’t work during our stay, and the staff often seemed unavailable. The front desk was often unstaffed, especially in the evenings. It was hard to get assistance with anything. Several times instead of being available I saw staff in pairs smoking on the side of the property. The cold water dispenser was empty for a whole day, and when I finally found a...

"Room smelt of drains and sewage. Air conditioning not working. Car park very small. Had to leave car keys at the desk so staff can move cars as had to park in front of one another"
