"The room was grubby and tired. It needed a full deep clean throughout and the furniture needed to be relaced as it was very badly chipped and scratched and had not looked like it had been replaced in a very long time. It looked like there was no care taken with any of the repairs made in the room, all very badly done. I would not stay here again. The room was very over priced at £219 for one night with no breakfast."

"So close to the airport that we didn’t need a taxi, which was why we chose it. We walked to it from the car rental return (of note, there’s also a Holiday Inn Express near by and we accidentally started heading in that direction). When dropping off our luggage, additional signs would be helpful as the entrance to the hotel was close to the airport parking and was confusing. "The staff at this lovely restored 18th century building is exceptional. There is a bar inside and a lovely back garden space where we enjoyed the sunshine after a day touring the Paisley Abbey and Sma Shot Cottages nearby. The breakfast we chose (salmon, scrambled eggs and toast) was excellent. Comfy beds, lovely decor and good water pressure in the showers. Also very close to the airport. We picked up sausage rolls and scones from the market on the Saturday morning before our flight."

The food used to be amazing here, the ingredients still seemed high quality but the preparation and taste wasn't as good as it used to be. The main disappointment was that the rules of the spa have changed and we were unaware we had to book the spa and could only attend at certain times which wouldn't have suited anyway.
