We were given a unit on the lower level even when asking for one with no one above us and offering to move on the second day. We were awakened in the night with loud tramping above us . Complained and were given a small refund. There is nothing special about this place, a little dated and will choose another hotel in future. Night manager was helpful to resolve loud tenants.

With the exception of being assigned a room on a lower level in a single-story building, we sincerely regret for any inconvenience you may have encountered while staying with us. We provide a transfer to another accommodation choice on the second day, but this is dependent on the availability of the same type of rooms. Also, regarding the complaint you made to the night manager, we investigated and confirmed with the guest that they had just entered the room at the time, however we sincerely apologize for any additional inconvenience. I'm honored you chose us, and I hope you enjoyed the surroundings. Best

This was such a pleasant place to stay. Extremely clean, wonderful customer service, and a tremendous value for the area. The beds are also very comfortable.

We loved everything about deer haven.. we brought 3 dogs 2 large a 1 small and everyone one loved them and was so friendly.. rooms were just right.. cute perfect cozy rooms.. 10 out of 10.. we will difently make this a spot to stay at more often!

Every time we go back to PG, we try to stay at Deer Heaven Inn when it's available. We love everything about it. If I can add one thing to make it even better, I think the shower head could be replaced with a better one. $20 more investment in shower heads can go far and make more customers happy.

Bad shower
The first night was not great, the shower would not drain and flooded the bathroom. Hotel could not fix the issue until day 2, we were given towels and asked to make a dam. The stand in shower has no drip rail and is directly connected to bathroom and main room so water got everywhere. Luckily the issue was solved day 2.

After we returned to our room the first evening the TV was not working. I went to the office to report it and the clerk on duty said she would try to reboot the cable box. I thought someone would probably show up the next day to fix it but she came straight to our room and fixed it. Definitely great service

Very well maintained property. I left my AirPods behind and though the address I tracked them to was not the property address, a quick email to the hotel remedied the situation and they soon showed back at then hotels address. I assume they were being held for safe keeping.

Thie Deer Haven is very nice only 1 thing i would change and that is the weak shower head other then that its a great place to stay. We walked all over to town to beach and to 17 mile drive and golf courses. great spot. Thank you to all who made our stay and great mini vacation.

There was one bannister on one side of the outside stairwells. Cement stairs were in disrepair. I was very afraid of falling. Didn’t feel welcome at check in. Room interior was comfy and clean.

Really enjoyed my stay here! It was quiet and comfortable. Good location; ample parking. The fireplace was nice to have. I did find some hair in the shower.

Room was lovely. Could have used more than a single cup coffee maker since there is no place nearby for a snack, like cafe or even 7 Eleven for a coffee or snack.

Quaint and clean
The front desk is nothing to write home about but once inside the room, it was nice, cozy and clean. The fireplace worked like a charm and the bed was very comfortable. Located in a quiet neighborhood but very close to Monterey and Pebble Beach. It is nothing fancy but if you are looking for a reasonably priced place to stay, this is it.
