Perfect-if you do not need sleep
The hotel is charming, the location is ideal, and the staff is amazing. That said, I cannot recommend staying here for one reason. SOUND PROOFING. There is no sound proofing. We stayed there over New Year's Eve for two days. From 6am onward we heard every single stomp of every guest. We left exhausted. It's a beautiful spot, such a shame.

We have been staying at Four Sister Inns for many years. The Gosby Inn was exactly as we expected. welcoming, clean, convenient, friendly, discreet, good breakfasts. Thank you. We'll see you again soon.

The property does not have parking. Only on street parking is available. This is difficult because many parking spaces have time limits. The room we stayed in was on the first floor near the kitchen and near the closet for the room supplies. The morning was very noisy. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good. The Inn is located in a great area for shopping and very walkable.

Wir waren sehr begeistert vom historischen Gebäude des Hotels. Unser Zimmer befand sich im ersten Stock. Es gab zwar keinen Aufzug, was sich mit unserem gesamten Gepäck etwas schwieriger gestaltete, war jedoch machbar. Das Zimmer selbst war für die Größe des Hauses sehr geräumig und hatte ein großes Doppelbett sowie einen großzügigen Schrank und einen Gaskamin. Leider gab es keine Klimaanlage, aber da es so oder so etwas kühler war, konnte man es durchaus aushalten und mit dem offenen Fenster nachts war es perfekt. Das Frühstück war amerikanisch simpel aber gut und schön frisch! Alles in allem ein wirklich schönes und historisches Hotel in mitten der Innenstadt mit allerlei Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sowie Restaurants und Bars. Wir würden definitiv wieder kommen.

Beautiful house with nice breakfast each morning. We loved the Everett Room. It was a short walk to the Bay and to some good restaurants in town also. We had a lovely time there.

Overall nice
It was a nice little bed and breakfast that used to be a boarding home. Had a nice reading nook. The staff is especially nice and very helpful. A bit disappointed with the room. It is basically just a bed and a bathroom. No where to put things or sit. The bed was comfortable. A little noisy in the morning because they were making breakfast.

Excellent choix !
Un lieu typique et vraiment agreable, le quartier est hyper pratique avec des restaurants et commerce à proximité. Petit dejeuner complet et de qualité. Et attention tres appreciable avec vins et fromages offerts en fin d'après-midi. A 5mn en voiture de Cannery Row.

Great food.
I have stayed at a Four Sisters Inn in the past, Dana Point. So my expectations were high. The room was clean and comfortable with always enough snacks and drinks provided for ones stay. I was a little disappointed that the hair conditioner dispenser was missing as well as the decorative pull was missing off the light chain. The bathroom needed and update and the towels did to. The breakfast was amazing and the coffee was so good. It just little details that could be avoided, especially at the customers expense.

Very nice post-Valentine's Day get away
Staff is still wonderful. Particularly the young lady who checked us in on Thursday night. Location is great and a good breakfast. Still an attractive location but not thrilled with new modern touches. Kind of mixes the Victorian and black/gold modern vibe too much.

Everything was amazing! Excellent location. Food was so good and there were always drinks (good drinks!!) and snacks for the guests. Truly felt like I was at home, or at my really attentive grandmother’s house (in the BEST way possible)! 10/10 would recommend!

I've stayed before - but there has been a recent remodel. The Inn has lost its ambience - to much modern for the house, the rooms have all the same bedspreads, a modern cabinet with refrigerator/inroom coffee maker (takes up unnecessary space) and modern light fixtures. More of a hotel than a BnB.
