"Royal Hotel is the perfect location to visit Versailles. It was an 8 minute walk to the gate. It is family-owned, and the hostess was friendly and helpful. The room was just what we needed--a hot shower and very comfortable bed. Morning buffet had wonderful pastries, coffees, juices, and charcuterie. Highly recommend."

The room is small for a family of 4 but nothing to complain about for the 2 nights we were there. Made for a cozy 2 days. We only slept in the room. The hotel and room is clean. Toilet is a separate room from the sink and shower. Nothing extra special about the hotel. Hotel room was quiet and air conditioned. Room included a fridge, coffee maker (we didn't use them) and tv. ...

"Het gehele hotel ademt een sfeer van vergane glorie uit. Het is oud en sjofel. De receptiemedewerkers zijn niet erg professioneel, de kamer is wel schoon maar de banken en stoelen in de lounge zitten onder de vlekken en scheuren en de vloerbedekking in de slaapkamer heeft zijn beste tijd gehad. Het ontbijt is heel karig en sober voor een 4* hotel en er is geen bedienend personeel bij aanwezig. Dat vond ik geen 19 euro waard. Voor de prijs die we hebben betaald voor dit hotel voelen wij ons wat...

"A disappointing stay I was genuinely disappointed with this hotel. The room was extremely small, and the bathroom was so cramped that there was hardly any room to move. The toilet seat was filthy and visibly soiled; it did not look as though it had been properly cleaned. The towels were old as well. There are steps at the entrance, but no ramp alongside them, so you have to carry your suitcase up the stairs. The bed was reasonably comfortable, but the breakfast was not particularly good....
