Noisy and a very unpleasant experience with regard to our request several days before arriving regarding a quiet room. I had mentioned in my first message that we had a bad experience at a previous hotel and would like a quiet room on a higher floor. I further reiterated our request when we checked in. I was assured by the front desk at check in that it was a quiet room. I further asked if the first floor room was located above any kitchen area or high use area. I was told that it was not.
In fact, the room was located on the first floor above a noisy service door/area and parking garage. We heard constant banging until 10pm at night then it started again at 5:00am. We were moved to a room on the second floor which was also very noisy. Some of that noise we realized was coming from the elevator, one of which also had issues while we’re there.
We had to wait hours in our move to another room which basically wasted a big chunk
