The room I was given in this aparthotel was a good size and reasonable furnishings. However the atmosphere inside the room is very depressing. It has no natural light as the window opens into the next building which is very close. The room has no good ventilation and there is a strong unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom. The bathroom was clean but had old tattered tiles inside the shower cabin and the smell coming out of the drain was unbearable. Overall entering the room felt like entering a prison cell. I was unable to sleep at night because of the poor ventilation and smell. In the end, half way through my stay, I decided to pay for a different accommodation. The reception staff was present on site only a limited time during the day. As most of my stay was at the weekend there was no one on site to attend the guests. The manager said that he would look into a refund but this has never materialised. I would definitely not recommend this hotel. The other rooms might be better but be aware that you may get this one and ruin your holiday.

The property is located between the harbor and the main shopping street (about 500 meters away). Since we visited soon after the EU borders opened again from covid (late June), it was extremely quiet with very few people walking the streets. However, I can imagine that it might get super full when cruise ships dock early in the morning and thousands of passengers disembark to visit Palermo for the day. The flat was clean and in a secure building. No breakfast is available at the time of our stay due to covid.

Lovely service and hospitality from Ivan! Loved our stay here and nice pastries in the morning. It was my birthday so Ivan let me have whatever I wanted from the mini bar fridge for free! Bed was super comfy as well and the shower was huge!

Le séjour fut agréable mais les murs sont mal insonorisés donc les bruits extérieurs nous ont vraiment empêché de bien nous reposer. Il est dommage aussi qu'il y ait peu de lumière naturelle dans la chambre, les fenêtres, enfin l'unique fenêtre au dessus du lit n'est pas suffisante. L'extérieur de la chambre n'est pas au top côté propreté. L'emplacement est ok car rapidement dans le centre ville. Le wi-fi n'est pas performant.

Palermo in apartments suite.

The venue was great but took a bit of finding due to the work being done further up the street.. certainly could judge this place by its outwards appearance. Was outstanding inside. Great wifi. Quiet and most importantly a great bed. And lots of places nearby for dinner.

The Perfect Place in Palermo

Perfectly situated between the port and city center..... for us elder, regular travelers between Malta and the European mainland (Palermo to Genoa ferry) .... we found the Aparthotel to be enchanting, wonderfully calm and quiet, with superb decor, modern clean lines and subtle decoration - yet still warm, cosy and inviting. We appreciated our spacious room, with grand patio and all for €50 plus city taxes... just marvelous. We thank again the staff for being so friendly, kind, welcoming and helpful - we will definitely return and spread the good word to Maltese friends and contacts, and to our own family, great travelers too! We are so happy to have found this new location in Palermo, giving us easy access to all the delightful spots in the beautiful island of Sicily that we so love.

OMG the toilet shower plate is too shallow and whenever you shower you have to wait for the water to run off and if not all the water flows out into the room.
