"The place is located next to a stadium and offers no noise control and you basically do not need a ticket for concerts, you hear it all. Most employees are just dry people."

"Very basic but clean and safe and comfortable without frills. Staff was friendly, breakfast was a nice bonus and the cool old royal palace was definitely interesting. Location is easy, perhaps be cautious at night but otherwise didn’t feel unsafe. "

The food is amazing!! So many dining options . So much history and beautiful monuments to visit. Ice cream is delicious and cheap. Also try some croissants in the morning for breakfast.

We loved Palermo. It had some lovely bars and restaurants and seemed less impacted by tourism than other famous Italian cities. Lots to see. Wonderful opera house.

We used the hop-on/hop off buses to get an overview of the city. Then purchased the three-day bus passes to allow us to use the buses at will. Excellent value for money. One tip, if you wish to go to Monreal Duomo, you must book this trip carefully!

"This is a really lovely hotel in an amazing street in Palermo. It’s made up from three properties one of which was a monastery. The staff are really lovely the breakfast was excellent and the air conditioning was superb which was fabulous as the temperature was so high. We did the bus tour and visited the cathedral which was amazing. We also did the Mafia tour which was fascinating. "
