Top Palisades Park Hotel Reviews

Hyatt Grand Central New York
10/10 Excellent
"The staff was amazing, so friendly!!!! The rooms are very spacious compared to other NYC hotels and the location is a huge perk"

Hyatt Regency Times Square
6/10 Okay
"Not real happy. The room smelled like cleaning supplies when we checked in. There is not a gift shop for drinks and snacks."

Margaritaville Resort Times Square
6/10 Okay
"I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The check-in and check-out process was smooth and easy, which I really appreciated after a long day of traveling. The location is definitely a plus—there are plenty of food options nearby, and it’s also conveniently close to Bryant Park.
However, the room itself was quite small and unfortunately not as clean as I expected. I noticed some hair left on the bed, which was disappointing and made the space feel less well-maintained.
Service was a bit inconsistent. Most of the staff were attentive and friendly, which made a positive impression. However, the front desk staff member on my second day was noticeably rude and not welcoming, which affected the overall experience.
The hotel is dog-friendly, which is great, but there isn’t a designated dog relief area on the property. You’ll need to walk to nearby spots like Bryant Park for that.
Overall, the location and most of the staff were highlights, but improvements in cleanliness, room size, and consistency in service would make a big difference."

Park Central Hotel New York
8/10 Good
"The good: Location, price and cleanliness. The King room was larger than expected and very tidy. Decent deal for car parking a few blocks away.
The bad: Only a single elevator working, no mini-fridge or even plastic cups, lack of staff at front desk (expected these days in NYC). Felt like we spent a lot of time waiting. Thermostat would not stay at temperature we set, but it was still comfortable."

Hotel Edison Times Square
10/10 Excellent
"Great on everything "

The Manhattan at Times Square Hotel
6/10 Okay
"The hotel is under renovation, I get that.
However, the first night we were put in a room with a terribly dank smell, A/C barely cooling at all, we sweated all night, and there was construction noise before 7am the next morning.
So, we delayed our plans for the day and hauled our luggage back down to the lobby to check out of that room and be placed in another room on a different floor, which we had been given the wrong type of keys for, and we had to go back down to reception to switch out the keys, only to be let into a room with ZERO A/C. We decided at that point to go on with our day and deal with the room situation upon our return.
Later, we were assigned a THIRD room, on a renovated floor, which alleviated the smell and the construction noise, but, while this room did have some air flow, it was not sufficient to make the room entirely comfortable.
I've stayed at this hotel four times now as it is a prime location. But I will be considering other options next visit."

Millennium Hotel Broadway Times Square
8/10 Good
"You have to request a refrigerator and the building was still set to heat so you couldn’t adjust the thermostat. We had to open the window. "

Hampton Inn New York Times Square
6/10 Okay
"Breakfast was great though super crowded and hard to find seating. Rooms are tiny (as expected in NYC). Housekeeping was minimal. Rooms were supposed to be freshened every second day, but we only had them come in once. Elevators were a mad house. It took a long time to get into an elevator. "

NEW YORKER BY LOTTE HOTELS
6/10 Okay
"Rooms small and old. Bathroom was antiquated too. Would prefer a little more upscale hotel next time. Best thing was the diner attached to the hotel and the Hertz car rental right next door to the hotel."
