"The Big Texan Steakhouse and gift shop are an awesome, nostalgic experience. This is a very "Carnival" type environment, which stems from the owners background. We stayed in the Motel, very rustic, however clean. We stayed 5 days here, at best this is a 2 day stay place."
"Staff was kind and professional, breakfast was good. Regarding the cleaning, room was ok but the bathroom had an awful smell and it was not very well cleaned. The outside needs TLC and it doesn't feel very safe to stay there."
"This hotel was listed as no pets allowed which is important as I’m extremely allergic. Upon check in they notify they are pet friendly. Not only is this extremely aggravating and false advertising it is also dangerous. They found a room that had no history of pets for the past week and I was able to stay for the one night. Although I did have mild allergic reactions. Additionally the hotel is going through renovations. There was no name on the front of the hotel, there is debris everywhere and our room was shabby. Dirty curtains, stains on the carpet, molding coming off the walls and rust stains around the toilet and dark stains inside. The staff member who checked us in was rude with an attitude that we were bothering her for checking in. We will not be staying with this company again."
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Amarillo Airport
10/10 Excellent
"The entire hotel; lobby, our room and parking area was clean. Everything was well maintained. The parking lot was well lit. The breakfast was excellent; very good variety, fresh, and cold items were cold and hot items hot. The hotel is right off the I-40 feeder road so very convenient entry and exit. The only downside with the convenient location is that there is some road noise, especially until about 10-11PM."
