"An amazing stay."

Seahaven Beach Hotel

"The staff was really friendly, our room gave us a wonderful beach front view, and the room was clean, but did have a few bugs crawling around in the bathroom. Killed a few of them. There was a centipede looking bug in our trash bin liner. No bed bugs or anything like that though. Our shower water pressure wasn’t the best, and the toilet consistently ran. There was some of what looked like water mold on the drain of the tub. The place is pretty old, and it shows- but not too bad of a stay really. I did hear of other guest complaining of not having shower curtains, toilet paper, etc. Some of those things are just simple mistakes made by the cleaners and that is ok. The floors were also VERY dirty in our room. I had to go to the local Dollar General and grab slippers to wear in our room. Overall I would give our stay a 7.8/10. I think if you’re going to come down here to PCB and spend money, maybe invest in a nicer hotel than this one if you can afford it. We don’t go on trips very often and kind of expected more from this hotel- just because of the price we paid. I think it just needs some fixes on it! The pool and beach enterance was my favorite part. Right by each other. The pool isn’t as big as you think it would be in the picture but irs still decent size. Overall, just think that the hotel needs some renovations and fixes sooner than later. Other than that, great location and great staff! In good walking distance to some restaurants and Pier Park too."

"It was our first time staying at the Sandpiper Beacon. Overall it was good. Our room was very clean. Our view was absolutely amazing. We had a private balcony, which we enjoyed. The staff was friendly. We enjoyed the Tiki bar. The grands loved the pool with the slide. The downside in spite of it being a non smoking facility was the smell of marijuana smoke. Mostly by the pool where the kids were playing. This should not happen. I look for non smoking facilities when I book rooms because of allergies, and well the odor. Like I said for the most part it was good."

Chateau Beachfront Hotel, A By The Sea Resort

"We loved everything about our stay. The only thing we didn't like was checking in, it took forever one person answering questions for guest that had already checked in, while having people checking in having to download stuff to fill out that should have been on their computers already. Then having to scan to be able to get free parking, which they take out of your checking account along with a 150.00 deposit that neither was on the web site. That could really hurt some people."
