Can’t rate it 5 stars as anything other than an excellent backpackers’ hostel! Toilet and shower on every floor; private rooms available; cooking facilities; and run by a friendly Nepalese family.

The property was beautifully designed, comfortable and the breakfast provided was delicious. The only downside was the courtyard was very brightly lit at night and the curtains were very thin white fabric which meant the room was not dark at nighttime and prevented me from a good nights sleep. The taxi was unable to get to the property due to the narrow streets so you need to carry your bags a short distance which is not a problem. Friendly place, comfortable and large rooms plus great view of Pimbahal Pukhu.

Comfy beds, great service, super friendly staff, tasty breakfast, quiet at night. Area is a little dark at night, not sure I’d walk around by myself then, but apart from that, everything about this guesthouse was excellent.

This was my third visit here so I think that says it all. Hopefully I will be back there again soon

There is a pleasant self-service breakfast room with fruit, breads, eggs, cereals, tea and coffee. At the front, there is a lovely, peaceful garden. The location is 10 minutes' walk to Durbar Square which means...

nice hotel in the center of Kathmandu. Quiet and cozy. Really like home. There disable shared kitchen and the possibility cook. Friendly owners and staff.

I love being at Kathmandu homestay! I came back here bacause I loved it so much. The family running it is just so nice and they help you with everything and you become part of their lives for a few days. If you want the feeling of coming home after a day then stay here. Breakfast is simple but good and they invite you for dinner one evening you are staying with them. I love masala tea!!!
