"This was a one and done for me. Hotel was just ok. Needs to be more polished. Hotels and resorts in Florida in the summer need to have coolants or chillers on their pools, there is such a thing. The pool was like bathwater, it was disgusting. When we checked in they gave us a room with a lovely view of air conditioning units and I asked to be moved and they did accommodate me with a room with a better view of the courtyard area. The prices for food at the resort were like Disney price...

"This was our second visit to tradewinds grand Island resort. We visited when our children were younger six years ago and returned recently. Both times we were impressed with the amenities, convenient location, beautiful beach, views, and family, friendly activities."

"The property is excellent. Great location next to Beach Road and great views of the bay from the hotel. One of the restaurants forget the name is Michelin mentioned spectacular setting and great food. Massage service first rate. The concierge very helpful setting up dinner on a holiday weekend."

"The website didn't state that parking was paid. Upon check-in, I was told not to worry—they wouldn't charge me for parking. However, at check-out, they charged $25 per day. I pointed out again that there was no information on the website about a parking fee, but the receptionist said the policy had changed recently and processed the charge anyway. I do not recommend this hotel."
