"There are many different sizes and types of rooms at Tortuga Resort on Anna Maria, so pay close attention to the room description and location. We had a large, condo type room that was great, with a lanai and a view of the bay! The kitchen was large and had everything you needed. Table for six. Everything was clean. There are multiple pools and they have their own beach front, though you do need to cross the street, as you do with most of the resorts on the southern part of the island. Chaise lounges on the beach; plenty of beach towels; umbrellas provided in the rooms; wonderful sunsets; at least four restaurants within walking distance. Pavilion on beach seems wheelchair accessible. Old Florida feel, which I like. We will return!"

"No se la recomiendo a nadie el servicio es muy malo yo pague $50.00 por una mascota y resulta ser que la mascota molestaba los niños se estaban bañando en la piscina y como niños al fin gritan porque están jugando también molestaban hable en la oficina el día antes para decir que en el día siguiente iba a recibir visitas por el cumpleaños de mi esposo y me dijeron que si que sólo tenía que pagar $25.00 por cada carro que llegara y cuando llegaron la familia que fui a pagar por los Parqueo me dijeron que no que tenía que buscar Parqueo público se parquearon los carros en Parqueos a públicos lejos del hotel y cuando estabas reunidos todo muy tranquilo a la media hora fueron a decir que todo el que no estaba hospedados en el hotel tenían que salir de la propiedad el día de la salida a las 8:00AM me estaban tocando la puerta para limpiar la habitación según ellos que ya yo avía chequeado la salida trabajan muy mal según las descripciones y las fotos el área de la piscina hay un BBQ y no es cierto cuando pregunté me dijeron que antes si lo tenían pero ahora no es decir que dicen muchas mentiras"

"Incredible beach views, rooms are recently renovated and modernized. Great location in walking distance to local restaurants and shops. My feedback is regarding the fine details, which were lacking. We were issued USED fabric wristbands, which act as door keys. Please don’t give me a dirty wristband that a prior guest used and has visual dirt and wear marks. That was the first impression — and it was not good. If you want to reuse a door key, that’s fine — but I don’t want to wear (or be issued) a gross wristband clearly used by a prior guest. Upon arrival, there was a visible sweat ring on the side table, not cleaned properly, along with visible wear on some of the toiletry labels (change them out when they get worn looking), the back deck wasn’t swept and the lounger cushions had sand on them. The lack of attention to detail makes a mediocre experience. Oh and the folks in the unit above us sounded like a full on stampede because there’s no sound barrier between the floor and ceilings. We could hear every footstep and it wasn’t light gentle footsteps. Full on pacing and walking in the morning and at night. This place is a 3 star hotel charging a premium for the view. That’s the disconnect for me. I’ll pay a premium but the experience and details have to match. There are many hotels that charge a similar price but they have a higher standard of cleanliness and detail. "

"Phenomenal beach that they own and is easy to access. Lounge chairs and towels provided. Room was clean. Staff was friendly and professional. We plan to return! Highly recommend. "

"Great stay and experience. Management was very quick to respond. Facilities and room were just as described. Friendly and easy to work with staff. If I were to maybe suggest something (and this is just being picky) maybe add some hedges in front of the pool so as to block the view if the Post Office a bit? Great room and a great experience."
