"The entrance and lobby at this hotel are simply gorgeous, a real attention to detail makes this a welcoming environment. The rooms are spacious and clean, and although the balconies are small, they do provide a lovely view. The solarium area and sunbathing spaces are ample and both pools were refreshing. The pool bar has lots of options and a nice food menu. Overall, having stayed in 5 or 6 hotels in the vicinity, Hotel Alay has proved to be my favourite and actually great value for money...

"Lovely hotel, second stay here and excellent value for money The resort itself,not much to do,and not very pretty, although easy commute for Málaga,The airport and Marbella for days out. I'd recommend,as long as your happy to catch the bus 30 minutes to get out of resort"

"Excellent place to stay. Minutes from the station and right in the centre of town so close to all the shops, cafes and restaurants. The rooms are spotless and comfortable. Good WiFi. Plenty of hot water and a good powerful shower. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Would certainly recommend if you want to be in the town rather than on the seafront. "

"Clean room. Staff friendly and good food. Corridors are looking a little tired but i think they are doing it up slowly. Gardens well maintained though and enjoyed sitting out in the mornings with a coffee"
