However we went in November and it rain and wind storms were so bad, most of the time we were stuck in the hotel with little to do. "This hotel can barely be considered a hotel. It’s a 5 star ++++ experience where everything from the staff, food, amenities and location make you feel like a VIP all day long. It is located on a busy touristic strip, but once you cross the iron gates, you are cut of from the rest of the world and transported into absolute luxury. Simply perfect. "

"Unser Aufenthalt war super, das Zimmer war schön und sauber. Der Service beim Frühstück und Abendessen war sehr zuvorkommend. Einzig die Sauberkeit im Health Center könnte besser sein, die umkleiden und das Gym waren schon sehr dreckig. Ansonsten war aber alles ordentlich. "

"I was in Carvoeiro for one night and I enjoyed my stay at O Castelo Guest House. The guest house was super clean, nice size bedroom with everything you would need, every staff I met was super friendly and ready to assist me with anything I needed. The location was also great, balcony overlooked the beach and a few minutes walk to Carvoeiro beach and the boardwalk leading to Algar Seco. O Castello is the only place I’m staying if I visit again and would 100% recommend. "
