"I gave this 3 stars when measured against other 5-star resorts we've stayed at in Mexico — this one didn't hold up. The food, amenities, and service fell short compared to other 5-star all-inclusive resorts we've visited in Cabo, Puerto Vallarta, and Cancun. My son scraped his leg at the pool, so we went to the hotel's little shop to buy rubbing alcohol to clean it before applying a bandage. The small bottle cost $33 USD. Yes, $33.
