"It was fun to have a view of Mt Etna right out our room window. The hotel facility has a pleasant inner courtyard, which was nice in a busy urban setting, and a good place for breakfast when the weather allows. Speaking of breakfast, the offerings were extensive and included some preserves made by the kitchen. The plantings were lovely. There were some interesting antique furnishings and decorations, including a massive wine press (or maybe olive press?) in the breakfast room. Some of the room furnishings were more archaic than antique. But overall a nice place to stay at a modest price."
