"I have now stayed at The Island twice. I love to walk the beach, visit the pier and go to the restaraunts and shops nearby. I utilize the gym but it is not onsite. You have to walk to the building next door and use a pin code to gain access. The pools and beach are fantastic!"

"Great location. Pool and common areas were good. Im sure it’s hard to keep a beach hotel clean. Be careful about room choice because ours was sub-standard and terrible view even though that was not obvious from the room description. I have stayed here at least 4 times and I know what the other rooms are like. I was not careful enough. Breakfast buffet is very nice."

"Nice facility but our room needed attention. The shower gel dispenser did not work, one bed side lamp did not work, and the tv remote control did not work. We paid for a premium room but it did not meet our expectations. We informed the checkout attendant of these problems but she simply stated “these issues will be reported”. Other staff members, check-in and restaurant staff, were very friendly and helpful."
