"This hotel in my opinion, occupies one of the best positions along the La Concha promenade and importantly has a terrace which many other properties do not. Everything about the stay was exceptional. The in-room amenities were well thought out. We stayed in a delux room with a sea view. There is a pillow menu available and my feather pillow was delivered within minutes of asking for it. The breakfast was lovely with lots of choice and everything refreshed regularly so it was all fresh. ...

"Property was extremely clean and quiet Location was not the best. Way too far out of the city. Costs about 12€ by cab to get into the city. I am assuming from all the health facilities around the hotel it is primarily for that purpose. Not a holiday destination. Front staff really didn’t sell the property. No explanation or advice on anything. Major downfall was the bed. Very uncomfortable. Almost like the centre had collapsed. It runs on an eco aircon system which does not allow temperature...

Short walk to beach and close distance to shops downtown and old town area. Easy access to bus stations (we took the bus to old town when we didn’t want to walk). Quiet neighborhood, and very safe. Great value for cost. Would stay here again, and would highly recommend it to other families."

"We had an enjoyable stay at Hotel Luxe for 2 nights … lovely hotel located just outside San Sebastián (SS) on the cliff tops. Food from the Bistro was excellent (the main restaurant closes on a Sunday and Monday) …. Perfect for trips into SS using the local bus (number 16 -2 Euros fare) and a taxi or bus back as parking is very difficult in SS. Hotel ideal as a base for exploring the delights of SS and the Basque region… highly recommended"
