"My daughter and I arrived to the property around 1pm and were grateful for an early check in. We were offered three rooms, two in the basement of the house where we checked in (not Melville). The room was dark and musty with dated furniture and a stained rug. I’ve stayed in B&Bs with this place before and knew about the bait and switch. "Hotel was beautiful! Location was prime. Weather was pouring rain for our stay so not great. Meredith the Concierge worked wonders getting us a reservation to our top pick for restaurants 22 Bowen. It did not disappoint! We used the hotel’s large gym before an amazing dinner. Free WiFi required a bonvoy membership (which is free) but slightly annoying."
