"The room was clean and nicely decorated. The ocean view was beautiful and the room on the fifth floor was quiet. (I requested a quiet room) The bed was comfortable. The food at all of the restaurants was delicious and excellent. Include the breakfast in your package as the breakfast buffet is excellent. The employees were friendly and worked hard. The pool was beautiful. The hotel had a very nice clientele of all ages. We were impressed that young children were well behaved. I didn't care...

"The staff maintain a SPOTLESS room, the prices are the best on the island for comparable hotels, the Grill was being updated so we missed the food (excellent and reasonably priced)—that was the only minus of the trip. Oh! And the rooms have all been updated AND you still have access to all the amenities of the Westin across the street; beach, spa, restaurants). We’ve stayed at both the Westin and SS over the years—SS is now our hands-down preferred stay on the island. If this sounds effusive,...

"My Birthday stay at the hotel was Wonderful! All of the staff were kind and very helpful. The cleaning staff went out of their way to make our stay even more enjoyable. A special shout out to Ankia who was very sweet to us! Also the staff at Ms Piper's were very attentive and made my Birthday very special!!"

"Helpful staff and good amenities. Location is a bit out of the way which can be good if you want a more peaceful vacation. Not walking distance to anything but the staff is good at getting local taxi drivers when needed. Restaurant food is good and staff is very friendly."

"A last minute reservation at 6:00 PM, due to a flight cancellation. Reserved a garden-view Queen-suite. The room as clean and everything was in good repair. Dined at the on-site restaurant, the Driftwood Bar & Grill. The food was tasty; the portion a good size and was served hot. Ate at the bar and the bartender was attentive and friendly."
