It was clean, very well maintained and comfortable accommodation in charming Marezige up in the hills surrounded by olive groves and vineyards, for those wanting some distance from the crowds in nearby Koper and Piran. Our accommodation was also very close to Hrastovlje (20 min drive), the forests for our truffle hunting tour (5 min drive or 10 min walk) and walkable to the centre of Marezige (7 min uphill walk) where the wine and olive oil...

"The Savoia is in a terrific location and it's a beautiful, classic hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast is abundant and delicious. The fitness room is a bit small and basic (needs disinfectant wipes and a water fountain/stain), but adequate. We were very pleased and would gladly recommend the Savoia to others."

"The reviews seemed too good to be real, so I was a bit skeptical. But when I got there, I was quickly proven wrong. The hotel was amazing. It’s just as beautiful as the photos. The staff is every bit as kind as mentioned in all of the reviews. Sometimes you see hotels that Photoshop the pictures. This hotel did not do that. They are spot on. We loved it and cannot wait to return next time we’re in that area. The staff consistently went above and beyond."

"Property is on a top floor of a beautiful building. It’s in a very convenient location to restaurants, train station as well as the port. The communication with the host is excellent. A bit confusing on how to access the building and how to get to the suites. My issue with understanding. You get into the building, there is a small elevator ( or a walk up the grand staircase). Then you enter the suites on the top floor. The room we stayed in was spacious. Large bedroom, living room,...
