"It’s a lovely luxury vacation resort. Beautiful, well equipped. Shower is very powerful (not all hotels have that). Outdoor Onsen bath per room with sea view is the best. All staffs are very nice and helpful. The spa is superb too. We did facial and body massage. Totally relaxed. It’s a great resort. Dinner is nice. "Exceptional traditional ryokan if you want to relax in Hakone & Yugawara! The thoughtfulness and service of the staff was wonderful in every aspect. Rooms were supplied with traditional robes, comfortable sleepwear, onsen on our terrace and hot spring baths. Kaiseki cuisine was delicious, plentiful and presentation was over the top. This is a beautiful facility with an excellent staff. If you want to experience Japanese culture at its finest you need to come here. Our 4 day visit was perfect...

"Wonderful location above the sea with a great view from the rooms, the terrace and the pool. High level of comfort and convenience with a free bar and great Onsen with superb views. You can walk to the beach by foot within 5 minutes and also to the town and restaurants in about 10-15 minutes which was very convenient. Great value hotel!"

"We loved this place. An older property but very traditional interior with a wonderful bathing area. The views are just incredible. You can wake up with an amazing sunrise over the ocean with the best vantage point in town. But the best part of this place is the host. From when we arrived the upbeat, positive energy of the host was amazing; she didn’t miss a beat and was incredibly helpful even though we didn’t speak each others language. Would stay here again anytime. "
