"This is a beautifully appointed B&B located across the street from the bay. Many rooms have a direct view. There are no TV's which keeps it serene. Breakfast is a large as you want it with adequate choices. Come early as the patios tend to get a bit cool after 45 minutes. Restaurants are within walking distance. Parking is limited, even on the street. There are a LOT of stairs, but apparently some ADA rooms as well as a couple ADA on site parking spaces."

"My biggest complaint is they did not have half and half for their coffee. I actually asked the night before because it's so important to me. They said they did so I didn't go by any and there's no stores nearby so I couldn't run off on the morning to grab some. It was incredibly disappointing to use non-dairy creamer for a nice cup of coffee :("

The bed was very comfortable, and the fireplace was a nice feature, especially since a storm came in and the weather was cooler. The windows and patio faced residential homes, and the area was very quiet, which we appreciated. There were some operational and maintenance issues. The televisions were difficult to use, as the channels could not be changed easily. The manager on duty replaced a missing...

"The boxed continental breakfast was a pleasant surprise and was perfect for our needs and tastes. We like the location because we can walk into downtown Pacific Grove for shops and restaurants, not have to drive, and it's enough distance to count as good exercise. The area feels safe and looks attractive and pleasant. Next time, we would pay extra to get a room with a private balcony."

"We were throughly impressed with the breakfast and the staff who worked there were very friendly and helpful. Parking in the covered spaces at the cottages was a bit treacherous after the rain. Getting into our car was a little tricky due to the water that hadn’t drained. The room was comfortable and large. We will definitely go back. "

"Our hotel room had tons of MOLD in the shower and in the room with wall paper peeling off exposing more mold. We couldn't even stay there because one of us in the group were allergic to mold and we did not even get a refund. "

"It’s a great location and beautiful scenery. The kids loved that the deers were right in the parking lot and you could hear frogs at night. The hotel itself shows its age and the first night and first morning we had no hot water and the staff was slow to address it. Once we had this issue fixed the stay was good. "
