"Staff were phenomenal. Great location, steps away from Circular Quay, the Opera House, and the Botanical Gardens. Very convenient for shopping or sightseeing. The only drawback is that the restaurant doesn't open until 6:30 am, so no morning room service for coffee. The in-room coffee is instant."

"Very disappointed with housekeeping. No turn down service by 9pm which was taken seriously by manager. But housekeeping ignoring our request for bottled water was basically ignored and after 30mins we had to check out. Very disappointing service because housekeeping is a very important service."

"The location was great. It is a short walk to George Street shops, restaurants and cafes and tram stop. It’s about a 10 minute walk to Circular Quay, the cruise terminal, The Rocks and Darling Harbour restaurants. Fantastic concierge service. Easy flat undercover drop off for vehicles and reception desk. No steps. Great vehicle access from the Harbour Bridge and the M8 to the airport. Large bedroom with plenty of room for our 4 large suitcases. Large bathroom with nice bath and separate shower. Plenty of mirrors. The indoor swimming pool has a small outdoor balcony that gets afternoon sun and there are good changing rooms. "

"In desperate need of renovation, at least a replacement of carpet and upholstery. Still the same after 30 years. Our pillows had such a strong odour coming from them that I needed to ask for new pillows. Room smells unpleasant, and so do the carpeted hallways. We booked through Hotels.com and got, what we thought, was one of the worst rooms in the “deluxe “ category. Staff very friendly and good room service. "

"Few shops nearby. Very hard to check-in. Left luggage in storage last day. No one at counter to return it to us. Missed Uber. Had to call manager to get baggage back. Would not stay here again. "
