"Breakfast is good. AC is noisy. Room is clean but there is no exhaust in the toilet. As a result the toilet stinks after you pooped. Pillows are too soft."

"Room was big for the size of the hotel. Very quaint and perfect hotel for our stay as we worked in nearby Del Mar. lots of food options less than a 1/2 mile away, and the room had a fridge and microwave. Absolutely perfect. "

"Very convenient place and friendly staff, affordable price and relatively clean room. But that was all. No sun light inside the room, very dark even at daytime. You wouldn’t recognize if it was night or day because it was too dark. Very loud party at Saturday night. Very nice roof top for free instead. I could barely stand because it was a business trip. It would have destroyed the trip and left bad impression on San Diego if it was private. Probably I would not stay here again."

"I loved the view of the ocean! If you stay here you must request the ocean view on floors 2 or 3! I enjoyed sleeping to the sound of the ocean! The board walk is busy with people so you will get the occasional noise or the lady who decided to sing with her karaoke machine(not so great). You get free breakfast, nothing to write home about but it was eatable(meh).The best thing is the waffles, but couldn't have it(glutten free). The staff were amazing! The parking was secure! I highly recommend...

"Old furniture with multiple scrapes, dents. Carpet old and a large bump. Breakfast area--large bucket on top of the trash can where you were suppose to dump liquids---included coffee, water, juice, milk etc---smelled and unsightly. One staff member when we checked in very nice, professional. One staff member when I went to print boarding pass---computer didnt work was not helpful rude and unfriendly."
