"Unsure what makes this an eco retreat aside from the fact they ask you to bring your own water bottle to refill with water they provide and there is no hot water for showers. The property has a lot of potential but it felt maybe slightly neglected. There was a lot of debris on the ground, the kitchen area was really dirty and the room had rusty racks and shower curtains that allowed water to spray out all over the floor. "This is an absolutely beautiful property. It’s very secluded and has a very romantic feeling to it. The owner is amazing and makes you feel like family. We booked it last minute after our VRBO ended up being a scam and we had to scramble to find somewhere to sleep.
