There was no elevator, and my mom had a terrible time on the stairs. No hot water for showers. There was trash in the refrigerator. Restaurant was a room, not enough seating for the 4 of us. Extremely loud people outside and in hallways. Someone even tried to enter our room in middle of the night. It was worst experience ever."

The power on the island went out almost every night which is terrible for someone who has to use a CPAP to sleep. It seemed as though all of the units around us had generators. If we had one it was never brought to our attention. We had no way to exit the compound because the gate would only open from the outside. "What a beautiful place to stay on St. John, a great location with outstanding views. The restaurant was wonderful, we had two outstanding dinners and enjoyed after dinner drinks at the bar each evening. Staff was outstanding, friendly and helpful! We are planning to return in 2027!"

"This hotel is like a bed & breakfast. It has 12 units scattered around the property in different buildings. The rooms are clean but dated. The breakfast could use some fruit and yogurt but there were many carb options. It was nice to be able to grab something quick. The building felt safe and private. The 5:00 free cocktail happy hour is a nice touch. The pool is clean and small and open 24 hrs. The property is set up to allow privacy if you prefer it. The staff is helpful and accommodating....
