"The place was lovely but the air-conditioner in both bedrooms needed replacing. The manager did give us a good heater after being cold in both bedrooms on the first night. We needed to leave the door open in the 2nd bedroom to allow the heat to flow through from the living area. "

"Nice place, it’s actually one room in a large house. Toilet and shower are shared between a couple of rooms, it’s ambiguous in the room description. Still a decent price for the area. "

"Cabin was clean and had everything you would need plus extras. Kitchen well equipped, lounge and bed very comfortable. Nice to sit outside on the veranda. Only downside was the bathroom is very small and hard to use the sink to clean teeth plus one side of the bed is against a wall. But overall a great place to stay for a few days."

"My family had a wonderful stay. My sister already plans to come back next year."

"What a beautiful, intimate, quaint cottage and only 10 minutes from the vineyards. Helen was the most lovely host, very knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble. It was so peaceful and it felt like we were stepping into a cottage in the rolling hills of England. We loved our stay, the lovely breakfast each morning and definitely will be returning in the cooler months to sit around the beautiful log fire with a bottle of the Hunter’s finest."

"Very nice place with fresh brownies on offer (no extra charge) various teas and coffee, breakfast box provided. A bit out of town so you need a car or other vehicle but close to the Byron Bathhouse!"

"Great food, amazing gardens , welcoming staff"

"This property does not clearly point out that the rooms are very small and do not have individual bathrooms. Bathrooms are shared among 9 rooms; over 20 people sharing 3 toilets and showers!! The common areas were not particularly clean. This is simply a glorified hostel, not a proper guest house. Unacceptable for the price. Additionally, the area is very noisy and it was hard to sleep. One of the worst experiences of my life and I have travelled around the World."
