Grand Sirenis Punta Cana Resort & Aquagames - All Inclusive
2/10 Terrible
"The staff was not helpful. We seemed to be more of an inconvenience to them. There were 3 staff members that were amazing. Our room had mould in the bathroom, the bathroom door couldn’t close & neither did our patio door. The upgrades we’ve seen, were mostly to the ULC section. The buffet was less than appealing, with the food being dry, luke warm at best & the dishes being dirty. The staff barely notice you. We visited the Riviera Maya Grand Sirenis & we’re hoping for a similar experience in Punta Cana, but we were immensely disappointed. Maybe in a few years, once they finish their updates, we’ll try again. "

Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana an All-Inclusive Resort
8/10 Good
"The Pros:
The staff was all very friendly and helpful.
The rooms are super big and comfortable.
The bathroom is also big.
My kid loved the kids club.
The Cons:
The food in general was not very good. The Split Restaurant and Toro where for me the two best options.
Buffett was poor and food was always the same, mid.
The resort is huge and although there are many restaurants there are not big enough to hold so many people. We had to wait for more than one hour to eat dinner at any of the restaurants.
The buildings look like they need mantainence.
The mayority of golf cars used to transport the guests look old and not well mantained.

Serenade Punta Cana Beach & Spa Resort - All Inclusive
6/10 Okay
"Good for families with little kids who need small resort with nice beach water/shallow off the main waves.
Rooms and resort starting to show wear and tear.
Pros:
- Small Hotel - close to beach, pool, buffet - easy enough without a stroller
- Kid friendly pool/splash pad - low level water for small kids even in bigger pool.
- Plenty of pool chairs even at 9a/10a (even during spring break)
- Pancakes, pizza, pasta, fries and nacho cheese/American Ketchup - if your kids are picky eaters - plenty of food options for kids
Cons:
- Activities disorganized - facepainting said 8p - lady came at 730p and left by 8p
- Extra Activities for kids are not a priority here
- Headphone Party for kids was earlier (7p) and when we got there by 8p after dinner, was told that its for adults
- Food is ok at best at the buffet - depends on your tastes/pickiness - some meals (steak house and hibachi, excellent!!) - not consistent, some breakfast days there were hashbrowns, syrup - some not. Some days there was green juice, some not - not a bad thing, just keep this in mind for those of who need routine.
- Reservation process is hard - app doesn't work well especially for large parties and you have to get on at 8a. Some nights we showed up at 6p and were turned away (granted there were 4 adults/5 kids) - keep this in mind.
- Room shower with large glass panel - entire room can see you showering if you care about this - no privacy barrier
- Bring kettle to disinfect bottles (Baby) - DR water"

"10/10 resort "

Majestic Elegance Punta Cana - All Inclusive
8/10 Good
"Overall, a good but not great resort. The positives: pools, beach, bars and bartenders and comfortable beds with good sized suites. The negatives: Food was average at best, restaurant service was very hit and miss (better at 9 Doors and the Italian restaurant; bad at steak house) housekeeping had to continued to be asked to supply the same amount of missing towels/wash clothes/etc that they took out that day. Shower area in room needs an update. Would we come back? Maybe if the price was right, but there are plenty of other AI resorts at this price point that are better. "

Serenade All Suites - Adults Only Resort
4/10 Poor
"I stayed from March 30th to April 5th; the trip was to celebrate my husband's birthday. Unfortunately, we would not return. The staff was incredibly rude; whenever you asked a question or requested something, they wore sour expressions and always responded with a lot of attitude. Every day, we had to request towels and water because they didn't restock the minibar. We upgraded to a new room with a Jacuzzi, but we went two days without being able to use it because it wasn't working. We complained, but they took a long time to send someone to fix it. The wooden frame of the mirror came loose and fell off during the night. We felt we had no privacy, as staff members would enter the room—sometimes without even knocking on the door. Ana from the spa was the only friendly employee."

Barceló Bávaro Palace - All Inclusive
4/10 Poor
"I had been going to this hotel for the past 10 years and every year it seemed it was deteriorating and frankly they seem like they don’t care. So we will never be going there again."
