"The food is good, not great but better than average as far as all inclusive resorts go. The drinks (alcoholic drinks that is) are the best I've had in an all inclusive resort. I would highly recommend Yanery at the main bar and Reyson at the steak house bar in the evenings. Poolside drinks are good as well. If you like them sweet, try the Sammy Sosa. Ask for Henry to be your butler as he's the best there is. He does an exceptional job and goes above an beyond what I've seen from any other butlers. The place does need some upkeep on the roofs and main pool and just some general maintenance overall, which I believe they do in November. I would suggest staying in the all adults Elegance Club portion of the hotel when booking. This was our 4th time in 5 years at this resort and we go back for the people, not necessarily the resort itself. The people make this place great."

"Stayed @ Barcelo Bavaro Beach Adult Only Resort. Staff was incredibly friendly, property was clean, restaurant options were plentiful, amenities like spa, gym, bowling, casino, and club were all within 10 minute straight shot walking distance from resort at other property. They offered complimentary trolley service too. Beach access was perfect and clean with showers for easy rinsing. Nightly entertainment was great. I upgraded to premium for swim up pool room which was well worth it. The room itself could use a little bit of freshening or updating, otherwise, totally comfortable stay. Premium upgrade totally worth it!"

"Buenas instalaciones, buena comida bufé. La limpieza es ok pero pudiera ser mejor por ciertos detalles. Deberían de tener lámparas uv para las moscas en el área del bufé y no debieran permitir reservar los restaurantes de especialidad sino el mismo dia, ya que se pierde la oportunidad de comer en alguno de tu preferencia y al que obligatoriamente puedes ir, te sirven en una hora y hasta más….!"

"Raul, my butler, was absolutely excellent. Every time I needed anything, he was there right away. Whether it was making dinner reservations, arranging transportation, or taking care of any request I had, he handled everything quickly and professionally. He was always friendly, attentive, and made sure I never had to worry about a thing. His outstanding service truly made our stay even more enjoyable. Corina, my wedding planner, was simply amazing. She did an outstanding job making sure every detail of our wedding was perfect. She was organized, caring, and always available to answer our questions and ease any concerns. She made the entire planning process stress-free, and our wedding day turned out even better than we had imagined. Both Raul and Corina went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. We are incredibly grateful for everything they did and highly recommend them to anyone looking for exceptional service."
