"Wir sind spät angereist und wurden trotzdem persönlich von Vater und Sohn empfangen. Auch als uns das Zimmer aus persönlichen Gründen nicht zusagte, konnten wir sofort in ein anderes umziehen. Alles war super sauber, sehr ruhig, alle waren sehr freundlich, wir wurden gut umsorgt und haben uns sofort wie zu Hause gefühlt. Gute Tipps für die Umgebung haben wir auch bekommen. Das Frühstück im Zimmer auf dem Balkon mit Sicht auf das Meer ist traumhaft. Durch die grandiose Lage ist alles herrlich...

"This is an excellent hotel to relax and enjoy the amenities and eat healthy food. Excellent healthy breakfast. Staff were very helpful, polite and pro- active in terms of looking after guests. Their spa services are great and anyone coming here should book treatments and massages to compliment their stay."

"Room was great outside was a bit messy but obviously they are getting ready for the start of the new season. Only issue was having to wait till 3 o’clock to get into the room which was a pain because we arrived at the 10.30 and had absolutely nowhere to wait so had to find somewhere in town which wasn’t convenient."

"The hotel was all good, its been a mainstay of Alvor beach for msny years. It has a few aging issues imo, but adds to its charm. I will return. Our balcony view was terrific. "

"Room was modern and very clean but simple with no soft furnishings. UK, Euro and USB power outlets were provided, a small TV with English news and a balcony with chairs and table. The location is good, it’s a short walk to shops, restaurants and bars, a bit further to the beach. Staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast was great."

"Everyone in the hotel were great except the only girl bartender, she acted entitled and made me feel uncomfortable she stated that I had to adapt to her country and made it clear to me. "

"The apartment was very nice. The breakfast staff were very friendly and attentive to detail. Unfortunately the mattress in the apartment was not comfortable and old. The reception staff did not provide accurate information about the replacing of the towels and the cleaning the apartment."

"Wir hatten ein Zimmer nach hinten ohne Aussicht. Blieben aber nur eine Nacht, von daher ok. Leider waren in der Bar fast keine Stühle aufgebaut und das Restaurant war gut besucht. Leider sehr laut. Essen ganz ok. Das Spa besteht aus vier Liegestühlen und einem Mini-Pool. Wenn die Anlage voll ist wird es sicherlich überall etwas eng."

"Older property, needs refurbishing. No AC so the rooms get hot. Opening windows helps but people walking by at night are loud. It’s a 8 min walk to the beach area. Need to go down an elevator but the beach is beautiful. Pools are about 10 min walk. There’s limited parking had to circle and ended up find a dirt lot in the back that was about 10 min walk. It’s not very accessible, uneven walk ways and limited ramp make it hard for people with mobility issues to get around. Lot of areas where tree...

"It's a massive apartment block but very well-appointed, spacious, and quite conveniently located. Our apartment was huge for the money and very well-equipped. Walkable to the beach part of town but a bit of a stretch to the old town centre by the river. We drove and walked in from the sports stadium area for a meal. Lots of choice for eating."
