"Newly refurbed property which we visited during a soft opening. Some things are yet to be completed but overall a much improved appearance including a remodelled pool. Worth a visit"

"The hotel was very clean and well maintained, staff were friendly and helpful. Also the room was spacious and comfortable. The downside to the hotel was the indoor pool was very small and had a cover over it so couldnt be used and the bar consisted of a couple of bottles of spirits. The breakfast was plentiful with the usual continental offerings."

"Aside from the confusing parking, between reserved for hotel and for public, the stay was perfect. It was a quick check in and the room was plenty for two people to stay in. It is straight-forward and easy, includes resturant, breakfast/dinner and has a pool area to relax. The staff were amazing and spoke multiple languages to accomodate guests with different nationalities. Overall stay was great. Location was very close to many shops and restuarants in the area of Monte Gordo."

"Cuando llegue y llame al teléfono que se indicaba me dijeron que no tenían mi reserva, y que venían al hotel, la verdad es que vinieron super rápido. Nos dijeron que no les había llegado mi reserva, pero yo les había escrito un mensaje y me contestaron. Me dijeron que a través de hoteles.com es muy complicado que con la otras empresas les llega bien la reserva. La habitación estaba muy bien pero tenía un olor desagradable de humedad. El desayuno incluido perfecto, pan, huevos revueltos, queso,...

"The Grand House Hotel has a dominating presence in VRSA. You can’t miss this incredible building. The hotel is stunning with much history. The staff are very welcoming, helpful and friendly. Our room was immaculate with everything we needed. Didn’t want to leave this morning! We were lucky to have a car parking space (on a first come, first serve basis) right outside the hotel. "Nice clean place with very responsive staff. They were extremely helpful via WhatsApp as I was arriving with a late check in. Cute location, free packing down the block, no issues. Clean room with good working AC. Bathroom was a little run down but completely adequate condition for the price of the room. very nice view from the top balcony off the communal kitchen, you can see the lighthouse. Great value stay, would come again if stopping in the area. "
