"Room 105 was very close to the ice machine and the front entrance door and it was very loud. Room wasn’t super clean and kinda smelly. Light fixture was falling out of ceiling upon arrival. Communal Coffee station was dirty. Location was perfect and staff was very friendly."

"We stayed in the north buildings which are the mini suites for six days. They have two mini refrigerators, each with a freezer, storage for your food, a two burner electric stovetop and some dishes. It has everything you need for basic meals. The room had a couch, desk and bed along with a walk in closet and nice size bathroom. The hotel is on Cleo street which has beach access which is perfect for boogie boarding and swimming with a small swim beach. The ride comes all the way up to the stairs...

"The location was unbeatable, but the property itself is a little dated. The pool area was full of sand and not very clean. Also no hotel parking, valet only at a hefty price."

"The owners are what really make this hotel special. Friendly, helpful, fun, just great people. They love what they do and it shows in every aspect. Beds are very comfortable and my husband and I slept in every morning. Having places to sit outside and enjoy the weather is a huge bonus. The location was also great."

"Like all Ayres Hotels it's good value for your money. Free self parking. Smaller hotel, only 3 floors. Nice, big inside courtyard with shade cover, tables and fireplace. Good buffet breakfast and happy hour with beer, wine, Coke products, snacks and cookies. If you are noise sensitive, ask for room on 3rd floor so you don't have to listen to people walking around above you. There are a few take out places and grocery store across the street."

"My husband and I had a wonderful stay at the Blue Lantern Hotel ! We had a beautiful room with a balcony overlooking the harbor. It was fun to watch all the activity from there. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was hands down the best I’ve had at a hotel and the room was beautifully furnished with views of the ocean. The location was easily walkable to a number of restaurants. We would stay again and recommend to friends."

"Reached out to the staff to get early check in (extra $50) for my two night stay and they told me I can come at 1 PM day of. I show up at 1:15 with the staff not even at the front desk and the door locked. Finally got a hold of someone just for them to tell me they can’t be there and I have to wait until 3 PM to check in despite what I was told the day before. I had a wedding to attend to, so I had to get ready in my car in the parking lot. They came an hour later to which I was already gone....
