Good family place. I wish there were more shaded areas close to the pools. The stone used around the pools must be replaced; they were a huge hazard to fall when wet and burn your feet really bad; we saw a few people falling. RIU Guanacaste was an amazing experience and I will absolutely stay there again when I go back. The staff was extremely hospitable and friendly. The hotel was pristine with easy access to all amenities. I highly recommend this hotel for any first timer or repeat travelers.
