The pub itself was good for food competitively priced, which can be ordered thru the app (along with drinks) The drinks we had an issue with - there were drinks on the app that weren’t available at the bar, the glasses had lipstick marks on them so washing is an issue & we were served a Fentiman’s Dandelion & Burdock drink 6 months out of date so stock rotation is a problem here. "Lovely old pub, with lots of history. Helpful welcoming staff on arrival and at breakfast. The parking was signposted but a little trickier to find than I expected, but plentiful when you get to it. Breakfast good quality. The room would benefit from a bit of redecoration as others have said but it didn't detract from a pleasant stay in an inn I would recommend to others. I stayed here for a conference in Nottingham and it was practical for that reason and easy to access from the motorway....
