"In spite of the friendly and helpful staff, unfortunately the property need significant investment to thrive. Very dated, bathrooms need replacing, doors need replacing, windows are small. It looks as though bedding is washed domestically rather than commercially, leaving tired staines on bedding. If you are young and need a cheap place to stay then this will be totally fine. "Three ladies in a group room for 4. The service was good to start off with however we were booked into room 108, which had several splats and pool stains of blood on the walls and carpet. "Room 23 was tiny and getting into the bathroom was awkward though a very low door. No shower only a bath with a hand held shower head. Single bed fine and just about ok for those if us who are 6’2 (a wall is a definite footboard). Bar shuts very early (before 10pm so no late night drink), friendly staff. Food can’t complain but not to rave over."

Also a lingering unpleasant smell in one of the two suites we booked, and missing crockery.
