"Good location, plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. Pleasant stroll along the waterfront. When the weather is too cold or windy for the rooftop bar the internal bar (by the restaurant) is not very inspiring. Good selections at breakfast, frequently refreshed."

"The picture of “King” property is misleading as it depicts a grandiose view of several buildings on the park however, the entrance to this property was around the corner on a dismal street. The elevator was a total joke—-it didn’t stop on the 2nd or 3rd floor—-we had to schlep our luggage up one flight or down two! Since I have a bad knee the lack of an elevator to our floor was not revealed on their website at the time of our reservation. The interior space was clean, beds were comfortable,...

"Staff was helpful & our room was good ( except beds were soft & we like harder ones). Property is in center area with no parking on site but close if you can find a spot or they have a garage about four minute walk. Parking is not convenient if you have a lot of luggage. Our room was clean & had a good view of the towt"

The hotel is a bit far away from the train station in a not that interesting area, but you could walk to the ferries to Cinque Terre and there was a bus stop close by where you could catch a bus to Leriche or the train station in La Spezia. "Very difficult to reach the rooms- it’s in a residential building, 3rd floor. No one is there to help with luggage which needed to be dragged over several steps then an old elevator. The room was clean. Amenities very basic. Overall not a bad option if you don’t have heavy luggage."
