This place was EPIC!! We have stayed at plenty of 5 star hotels in Paris and other cities and this really was beyond 5 star hotel experience. From the reception area, to the guest relations staff who walk you into your room, to the amazing concierge, you will feel like royalty. The rooms were impeccably decorated with no details forgotten. We also appreciate how quiet the rooms were given how well situated the hotel was. Special mention again to the Concierge staff who were so efficient and attentive with all our request and would follow up on every single reservation we had. This hotel deserves 10 stars!!

Central to the Eiffel Tower and Arc de Triomphe. The hotel was beautiful and the staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The view of the Eiffel Tower from the room was incredible.

*The Best* and 5-Star for *Duty Manager Julien* and *Front Desk Supervisor Zhiwei* In summary - we have toured 7 Big Cities, 5 Countries and stayed in many top end luxury hotels and without hesitation Julien Zhiwei and Shangri La Paris was the was *one of the amazing experiences we had* in this special trip. From Check-In to Check-Out it was dream experience come true. Julien and his team made sure each & every details is well taken care of. Room was top notch. Food was excellent. Service was above & beyond. View one of the best Above all We have stayed in other Shangri-La but Shangri-La Paris was top notch and Julien hands down *the best* duty manager and his team Zhiwei also was equally awesome. Huge strong recommendation and must stay when visiting Paris

HANDS down one of the best hotels with amazing services i stayed at. Concierge best team!! They handled all restaurant booking to car transportation! We came unprepared but they planned it for us and reserved the ticket .Always available all day! Overall each staff was friendly! The hotel was also very clean and close to eiffel tower! High recommend staying here! I will definitely be back!

Excellent stay. Highly recommend the Airport/customs service they offer, saved 1hr+ at least. Highly recommend the private car service as well. Stayed in the “Eiffel Tower terrace view room”. The room + terrace were large and the view was amazing.

We were very unhappy with our stay. The hotel is not worth the price. The spa is not impressive with small steam rooms that are too cold and do not have enough steam. The concierge is out of sync with their colleagues and would double book or fail to book restaurant reservations without giving us notice. The initial man that checked me in was not very welcoming and did not give us a tour of the hotel or offered us any accommodations to make us comfortable while our room was ready. The staff was rude to us when we tried to sit in the garden restaurant patio with the view of the Eiffel Tower to watch it light up one last time before our trip ended. The room service was unacceptable and way overpriced for the quality. I simply ordered ginger tea with lemon and they could not get it right even after the second time. We did not know there was a converter hidden in a desk drawer as no one informed us. We even asked the concierge, I believe it was James for a mustache, why there are no working outlets in the room to plug in my curling iron. He said it should be the same converter we used in Italy and never mentioned the alternative one so I never got to style my hair this entire trip. Cleaning services were also not up to our standards - they would leave used coffee cups and empty pods in the room instead of cleaning it up and never replaced the coffee pods. This hotel was NOT a 5-star hotel by our standards. This does not compare to other 5-star hotels that are much cheaper.

It’s terrible experience at such a 5 star hotel. We stayed for 2 nights but the 2nd nights evening totally water for the bathroom was shut down due to the property problem. We couldn’t take a shower and even flush the toilet. The hotel knew the problem earlier but they just deliver a letter to the room “no water for the maintenance from midnight to 5 am” then, they continued to shut down the water afterword since they couldn’t repair. The smell was terrible too. They didn’t offer to change the hotel under the illegal conditions before that’s happened. Can you imagine no water at the hotel? They shouldn’t operate while maintenance. I want they refund for the night.

Gorgeous and historical property. Walking distance from Champs Elysees and very close to Eiffel and Trocadero. Also across the street from a great Asian museum. It was impossible to get an early checkin but that’s understandable. Service and staff are great though they don’t offer a hotel car within a mile or so within the vicinity compared this to Le Meurice. Rooms are beautiful and spacious. I requested for a quiet room. They have an indoor pool but I didn’t get to try it. The only disappointment is the impossibility of getting a booking from Shang Palace. You’d think they’ll have a spot for guest hotels but I only found out they’re fully book 1 week before my stay when they sent me a welcome email. Furthermore, though some room service are from Shang palace, the menu is very limited from them. They’re also a little slow in responding to emails.

Best hotel I’ve ever stayed in in my life—and I’m a snob! Only thing that could have been better is adding smart TVs with Netflix since there aren’t many channels in English. Zero other complaints, however!
