"Needed a short stay for the weekend and Econolodge seemed decent enough as I was not planning to spend much inside the room. I chose a non smoking room but it wreaked of cigarettes. Upon inspecting the sheets, I noticed a bunch of stains/spots that looked like bedbugs stains. The Sherpa blanket had some sort of hard permanent stains. Pillow cases was almost yellow. "Issues at this location I have never seen before at a La Quinta. In our first room, our bathroom did not have a doorknob on the inside, which I did not notice until I had already shut the door behind me. The door then locked, and I was trapped inside for nearly a half hour while we were waiting for maintenance. Myself and my travel companion were able to get free through a lot of fiddling with the door—maintenance never showed up despite being “5 minutes” out. We were moved to a different room...

"Highly recommend the Loft as it was a beautiful space. The Heddle room has a glass window in the door to the bathroom. Technically you could shower in privacy but I would rather a solid door. Staff handled an issue with our original room well. They were immediately available when I called and provided both a short term (moving rooms for the night) and long term solution (fixing the issue) plan within ten minutes. Heddle room is a good option if you need a place to sleep and will be otherwise...

"Very clean and comfortable "

"The location is excellent - easy walking in downtown Providence. The staff are great and the rooms are clean and maintained. My only quibble is the "city view" room on the second floor provided not much of a view. Also, there is a small table in the room, but no chair (an uncomfortable bench too awkward to work with) so working in the room was not possible. "

"Reservation for two rooms with 2 queens. Got a king room and a single queen room. Given a disability room which wasn’t requested Rooms were very dark. No overhead lighting. Refrigerator on low setting yet froze items. No mirror in bathroom Pillows were horrible!! Room was quiet. Returned to car in am and my gas had been siphoned off while parked overnight so clearly no security monitoring the parking lot. I had filled car before arriving at hotel so was full in the morning less than 1/4...
