"Realizing that the hotel was 100 plus years old, the lobby was quite nice, check in was fine. We got up to the room and it was clean for the most part. We checked the bed for bugs and didn't find any, AC was very cold, bathroom could have been a bit cleaner but was ok. What we were dissatisfied with was in order to open close the bathroom door you had to straddle the toilet in order to do so. There was not a box of tissues in the room anywhere, no bucket for ice, I guess you don't need one if...

"Good breakfast with lots of options daily. Large room and well-appointed."

"NO towels in the pool area. Went & asked at front desk & he said he would bring some right over. After a 1/2 hr of swimming, still NO towels. Finally walked back to our room dripping wet. Also it has a sign to shower before entering the pool. Hard to do when there is NO handle to turn the water ON. Breakfast seemed well stocked, but nobody was cleaning tables."

"The price of our room was the biggest disappointment. If I pay 300.00 I expect an updated bathroom and comfortable beds. Also, there were ants in our room, in one of the beds and on the desk top. When we checked in somehow they showed our reservation was cancelled, but I had my printout of the Expedia reservation and they found a room for us. The staff was friendly. They need to remodel everything in the room and the bathroom vent didn't keep the moisture away. We felt like we couldn't wait...

"Good place to stay and absolutely fabulous location that is minutes from all the cool stuff to do in Duluth and Superior. I just wish they had a water fountain to refill water bottles and that we could connect more than two devices to the WiFi. Hard to get good cell phone signal sometimes."

"The parking garage was very sketch. Like a dark cave then randos just hanging out on top and I had a room on 12th floor and the elevator was broke so i left. Expedia made it seem like the nicest hotel in duluth lol. still charged me a pet fee too."

"We booked on a busy weekend, so ended up with a room with no windows. It wasn’t bad. Huge room, with doors that opened to corridors on both sides of the room. Perfect location in Canal Park. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Free parking, and Breakfast was included too!"

"The rooms were clean. This hotel thought through how many outlets people typically need and it was refreshing. I don't have to bring my own power strip. The hotel is located in an ideal place, right off the freeway but just outside the crowded downtown area."

"We have stayed here twice now. Not too crowded. The scrambled eggs actually taste good. There is an additional sink outside of the bathroom, which is great for when you need to get ready while the bathroom is tied up. Pillow lovers will appreciate that there are 4 pillows for each queen bed."
