"I stay at Burley Manor most weeks on Business. Love it here. The most peaceful place I've ever stayed in. The hole place gives off a sense of calm as soon as you walk through the wonderful old wooden entrance doors. Sat out in the evening watching the red dear grazing is something special. "

"To be honest if i had known this was a Brittania hotel i wouldn't have booked it. Aa previous experiance staying with this chain was not good. But i am so glad i did, the hotel was spotless, our room perfect, and again spotless. The staff were extremely helpful and efficient. We had breakfast in a spotless dining room with a freshly cooked buffet breakfast. Plus cereal etc. Even the coffee was good. The roller toaster was good and everything spotless. "Air conditioning is amazing beds very comfortable but had to check out on the 2nd night at 11pm due to the noise level from a function on & we were right above it! So really spoiled it, no rooms to change was offered! Not good when you have an autistic child with you and had to drive home which was a 3hour drive! "

"Lovely staff and great location on the beach. Room was a bit stuffy and even with windows open, could not get a comfortable nights sleep. Pillows could do with being a bit more supportive. Very flat with little support. "

"Yes this hotel is a bit dated but we didn’t care about that. The staff were all lovely, the location is fabulous and the food was excellent. We would 100% stay again. One tiny criticism, the bins on the outside terrace were overflowing and seagulls were fighting over the pizza scraps. "

"We were upgraded when we arrived to a Seaview room. The room was a nice size, very clean with a wonderful view. Having steps straight onto a beautiful beach was amazing. The hotel staff very friendly and informative. We enjoyed using the Spa facilities. The only slight issue was there is very little parking however there is road side parking and if you do have to paid to park they do reimburse you. "

"This is a lovely hotel in the perfect location for a visit to Christchurch. The premier room we had was huge and well appointed. The aircon was very useful in the hot weather we had. We got the early check in, which I recommend as it’s easier to find a parking spot earlier in the day. The staff were very friendly and even gave us a free welcome drink. We will definately stay here again."
